Research shows that DP graduates are much more likely to be enrolled at top higher education institutions than entrants holding other qualifications.
Through creativity, activity, and service (CAS), students learn outside the classroom and develop emotionally and ethically as well as intellectually.
For example, the Extended Essay (EE) requires independent research through an in-depth study.
The DP is recognized globally by universities and employers.
Language classes encourage an international mindset, key for increasingly globalized societies.
Learn how to analyze and evaluate issues, generate ideas, and consider new perspectives.
Take good study habits and strong time management to further education and the working world.
Learn to understand, not just memorize facts or topics and prepare for exams.
Theory of knowledge (ToK) classes encourage IB students to make connections between subjects.
Students are able to choose courses from six subject groups and study subjects at different levels.
We offer more than 30 IB courses in Higher and Standard Levels.
We adhere to the IB Mission Statement to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who help create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
Our IBDP teachers, who have mostly post-graduate degrees are well-trained and capable of teaching the IB courses.
The average scores of our cohort is consistently higher than the IB world average.
Manila Xiamen International School has a diverse community represented by more than 30 nationalities.

This annual CAS/A&S, Experiential and Interdisciplinary field trip will be in the Philippines. The field trip aims to give an insight of the day-to-day living of the less fortunate people, which we normally take for granted. It also provides the opportunity to explore several places in the Philippines. Students will work on a number of projects including community outreach and environmental conservation.
